Merging of the 3D Scanning and Photogrammetry

I wish I had a different 3D scanner for this 😅
Year 2019/2020
3D Capture (3D Scanning) for Art&Bob (ART & BOB FILMPRODUKTION AB) (https://artbob.se/) in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Silver Throne is located in the Hall of State at Stockholm Palace, where I did the scanning.
Due to budget, time frame, and location, I did this 3D capture within an hour (30 minutes of valuable material) and only 60 pictures, autofocus, and movement settings (continuous shooting mode) on a Nikon D3300. Then, I combined the 3D scans from a Wacom Mobile Studio Pro 16 with an iSense R200 sensor. For this project, I used Agisoft Metascan, Artec Studio 13, Zbrush, Netfab, Blender, and Luban3d (we're talking about 2019).
I was in a very delicate situation when tourists came into the Swedish Royal Palace and tried to scan a throne fully covered in silver.
The roughness of the 3D printed model was requested to match the scenographer's sculpting style. Scenography/sculpture and final product by Maximinimum https://maximinimum.se/
3D printed in PA12 by PostNord Strålfors.
**I share this to show that sometimes it is possible to do the job quickly and with the equipment you have. Today, I would require half a day or a full day. I would use cross-polarized filters and light methods, possibly blue light scanning or renting a scanner that can handle metal. I would also do a 3D Gaussian Splatting (which didn't exist in 2019) and probably use Reality Capture.**
